My name is Bettina. Photography is more than just a hobby to me—it’s the way I see the world. When I first started exploring the Swiss Alps with my dogs, I quickly realized that while a beautiful photo is one thing, the journey to get there is a whole other story.
Especially when you’re leading a team that couldn’t be more diverse.
Mountain Paw was created out of a desire to document these journeys—honestly, aesthetically, and with the necessary expertise—for everyone who isn’t traveling with a “perfectly confident” standard dog.
Domino: The controlling one
Domino has a special place in my heart because he’s been by my side from the very beginning. He came to me from Greece in 2022 at nine months old, carrying a backpack full of insecurities. As a livestock guardian dog mix, he views the world with watchful eyes and a need to keep a close eye on his surroundings.
Our bond: Since Domino was barely motivated by food outdoors, we had to work hard to build our trust through bonding and leadership—without any treats at all. That has forged us into an unbeatable team. I’ve learned an incredible amount about him, about dog body language and management, and above all, about myself.
His personality: He is a defensive, conflict-avoiding dog who prefers to steer clear of commotion. In the city, we’ve become planning pros: We manage his stress together so he feels safe.
His passion: He loves nothing more than running free in nature. He’s hardly interested in physical play with other dogs; outdoors, he’s “at work” and enjoys the vastness of the mountains, where he’s completely in his element.

Delia: The confident one
Delia is the missing piece of the puzzle in our team. She joined us from Bulgaria in 2025 and has proven from day one that she’s a true pro when it comes to enjoying life. She supports Domino with safety matters where I fall short, and I’m very grateful for her calm and confident demeanor.
Her role: She’s Domino’s rock. Her confidence gives him the security he sometimes needs to relax in stressful situations.
Her personality: Delia is the biggest cuddler under the sun—which, by the way, she loves more than anything. Unlike Domino, she’s a true sun worshipper. She loves everyone, is extremely food-motivated, and loves to use her nose.
On the go: While Domino scans the surroundings, Delia savors every scent and social interaction. She shows us every day how to live life to the fullest.
